Because...?

The Airline Industry is responsible for an estimated 20% of global Carbon Dioxide emissions, and they don't even have to pay for doing it! Lucky them.

Do your bit, by flying every chance you get, on your non-ethical vacations and on business trips, you can Screw the Environment even more than at home or in your car.

Fly even when you don't have to! Might as well while we still can, cheap personal flights may become a thing of the past when they've helped to make Global Warming happen and the government has to clamp down by taxing them.

Pollute Pollute Pollute

As well as pumping out Co2, Airplane exhaust fumes contain some other nasty stuff so you can help ruin the quality of the lives of people living under flight paths by supporting the airline industry.

Ever looked out the window at 35,000 feet? Seen that brown smear across the sky? That's a layer of Aircraft exhaust pollutants trapped in the atmosphere which contains soot, sulphuric acid, nitrogen oxide etc AND you helped to make that, there's no feeling like it.

Get this, it turns out that airplane contrails might actually help cause cloud formation and a massive decrease in flights would result in less clouds. Less clouds means less sunlight reflected away from the earth which could cause Global Warming to get worse!

Delicious irony.

What next.

Well, while you're on your non-ethical vacation, hire a car of course. Might as well have the biggest impact that you can.

Don't hire bikes or use public transport, that would reduce your environmental impact and make your vacation more ethical.
